1. The service and these terms
Topfits provides a Chrome extension and candidate workspace to help hiring teams assess resumes against role-specific criteria and organize candidate records.
These terms are intended to form an agreement between the account holder and Anand Sukumaran, operating Topfits as an individual. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to use the service on its behalf.
2. Your account and permitted use
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure and tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Use topfits for lawful hiring activities and only process candidate information you are authorized to use. Do not use the service to discriminate unlawfully, attempt to access another account’s information, circumvent access controls or disrupt the service.
You remain responsible for complying with the terms of third-party services you use alongside topfits.
3. Resumes, job descriptions and candidate records
You retain any rights you have in the information you submit. You must have the permissions and lawful basis needed to provide that information and instruct topfits to process it, including any required notices to candidates.
You authorize topfits and the service providers described in its Privacy Policy to process submitted information for the purpose of delivering the service, including generating assessments and storing the resulting records.
If separate data-processing terms apply to your organization, those terms should define each party’s responsibilities for candidate data.
4. Assessments support your review
AI-generated screenings and assessments can contain errors, omit relevant information or misunderstand a resume. Review the original evidence before relying on an assessment.
Topfits does not make hiring decisions for you or guarantee a candidate’s suitability, qualifications or future performance. You remain responsible for fair and lawful hiring decisions.
5. Credit packs and payments
The Pricing page describes the Free, Starter, Pro and Recruiter credit packs. Paid packs are one-time purchases. One balance can be used for applicant screenings at 1 credit each and detailed assessments at 2 credits each. Creating a job, generating screening criteria and viewing previously generated assessments are free.
Credit deductions and refunds for failed screenings are not yet active during the test rollout. Contact support for billing questions.

6. Connected services and availability
Google saving and local copies are optional. Copies saved to destinations you control need to be managed there. Disconnecting Google does not remove files already saved to Drive or Sheets.
Use of connected services may also be subject to those providers’ terms. Features can be affected by changes to the browser, connected services or infrastructure.
7. Closing an account or restricting access
Contact hello@topfits.ai to request account closure. Account closure, deletion of stored data and any refund request are separate matters.
8. Ownership of the service
Topfits and its licensors retain rights in the service’s software, branding and original materials. Permission to use the service does not transfer ownership of those materials. This does not affect rights you or candidates have in submitted information.
