1. Who we are and what this covers
Topfits helps hiring teams screen resumes against role-specific criteria and organize candidate records. This policy covers the topfits website, account workspace and Chrome extension.

This policy covers people who create accounts and candidates whose information is processed through the service. Where a hiring organization provides candidate data, that organization may also have its own privacy notice.
2. Information we process
- Account information: the email address and authentication information used to access your topfits account.
- Role information: job titles, job descriptions, screening settings and role-specific criteria.
- Candidate information: resumes and the candidate details extracted from them, assessments, recommendations and hiring decisions saved in the workspace.
- Connected services: information needed to operate Google saving when you choose to connect it.
- Support correspondence: information you include when you contact us.
3. How information is used
Topfits uses account information to authenticate access, role information to establish your hiring criteria, and resume information to generate screenings and assessments. Candidate records and resumes are saved so you can return to them in the appropriate role’s workspace.
When you choose Google or local saving, additional copies are created in the destinations you select. Support correspondence is used to investigate and respond to your request.
Screening recommendations can be incomplete or inaccurate. Hiring teams should review the resume evidence and remain responsible for hiring decisions.
4. Providers involved in delivering topfits

5. Storage, retention and deletion
Candidate records and resume files are stored in topfits through Supabase. The implementation uses authenticated account access and private resume storage. Additional Google and local copies depend on the saving settings you choose.
Disconnecting Google does not remove existing Drive or Sheets copies. Deleting or closing a topfits account should not be treated as deleting copies held in your own Google account or local folders.

6. Access, corrections and privacy requests
Contact us if you want to ask about information held about you, correct it, request a copy or request deletion. The rights available and any exceptions depend on the laws that apply to your situation.
If you are a candidate, tell us which hiring organization or role your request concerns. Depending on our role in processing that information, your request may need to be handled with the hiring organization.
We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting on a request. Avoid sending identity documents or full resumes with your initial message.
7. Cookies and browser storage
The supplied marketing pages do not add analytics, tracking cookies or local storage. The signed-in application and extension are separate surfaces with their own authentication and preference storage.
